It does make the outlook display more cluttered. This is a dirty hack and shouldn't be required. Are you getting a constant 'connecting' to Kies Here's how to connect your Samsung Wave to Samsung Kies. Start outlook, start Kies, watch the Sync work This will put your contacts & calendar into the PST. You must then make this the default file. Once you have your profile set up you will need to go back to the profile in control panel, choose properties and then data files. make sure that your device is supported and try again ' i had this message every time i try to use. There are some instructions here: Edit an Outlook profile - Outlook - this device is not supported by Kies 2.0. That way I can always go back to the old one if something breaks. To avoid messing with my outlook settings and breaking it all, I actually created a new profile and used it. So I added a new PST file to my profile and stored this in: C:\Users\"YOUR NAME\Documents\Outlook Files" The solution works for me on Windows 7 with Outlook 2013. Or that it cannot access the C:\Users\"YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook" folder. The problem is either that Kies cannot access the data if it resides in an OST. I actually made two changes, I can't swear if you only need one, I've run out of energy to fix this. The aforementioned error prompt is usually encountered by users whose devices do not meet the Samsung Smart Switch requirements. To find more details about the Smart Switch system requirements and relevant information, please visit Samsung Support website and navigate to the Smart Switch Support page. Unfortunately, I am not sure which of the many things I tried finally dd the trick. Kies does not support all Samsung devices.
